Ochre Cycling Socks
Perfect for warm-to-hot weather conditions, our lightweight ochre cycling socks offer high breathability combined with exceptional durability, thanks to mesh construction at the top and hi-density fabric at the footbed.
We also thought about the long-distance/endurance riding comfort as the socks are held together with flatbed stitching. The fabric we use is two times lighter than cotton and improves moisture management significantly.
Ochre cycling socks – the tribute to planet Earth
Ochre cycling socks are the ones to make you feel elegant. Ochre is one of the natural dyes obtained from rocks and clays, known to humanity for many thousands of years. Today, it is used in industry for the production of paints, varnishes, cosmetics, tinting ceramics and building materials. Ochre in nature takes shades from yellow to brown, but it is popularly referred to as golden yellow.
This shade symbolized life and death, hunting and prosperity, campfire heat and the setting sun. That is why ocher was given magical properties.
This color goes well with browns and sea blues. In addition, being a natural pigment, it goes well with earth tones – beige, red, gray and pastel.
